Owen John Leeper, 61, of Warsaw, died at the Murphy medical center in that city sunday.
He was born in Bemen Aug. 30, 1899, the son of Albert and Sarah (Price) Leeper. He had resisded in Warsaw since 1940, having moved there from Pierceton. He was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren church at Warsaw.
He was married Oct. 8, 1924 to Ethel Geyer, who survives with their three daughters and one son -- Mrs. Edgar Reed of Warsaw, Mrs. John Cain of Lebanon, Ohio, Miss Kathleen Leeper, at home and Richard Leeper of South Bend. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Harvy Senff, of Argos; Mrs. Arthur Truex of Columbia City, and Mrs. Chester Gordon of Plymouth; three brothers, Ray, Harold and Delbert, all fo Bremen, and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday in Warsaw. Rev. Merrill Geible of the Warsaw EUB church officiating. Burial was in the Oakwood Cemetery
