MR. JOHN JULIUS BOSARGE – A native and lifelong resident of Bayou La Batre, Ala., died at the family residence there, Saturday morning, Oct. 26, 1957 at 12:20 o'clock. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Evie Bosarge, Bayou La Batre, Ala.; son, W. E. Bosarge, Mobile, Ala.; three daughters, Mrs. W. E. Richards, Mobile, Ala.; Mrs. C. W. Roberts and Mrs. O. E. Howard, both Irvington, Ala.; four step-children, R. W. West, Philadelphia, Pa.; Mrs. T. L. Spittle, Leesburg, Fla.; Mrs. A. J. Anderson, Bayou La Batre, Ala., and Mrs. Harvey Rhodes, Foley, Ala.; five sisters and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the Bayou La Batre Church of God Sunday afternoon, Oct. 27, 1957 at 2:30 o'clock. Interment will be in the Bayou La Batre Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Higgins Mortuary, Inc., Mobile, Ala.

John Julius was the son of Perry Julius and Margaret Mary (Goleman) Bosarge.

He married 1st Margaret Whelpley on 13 Mar 1897 in Bayou La Batre, Mobile, Alabama.

He married 2nd Evie Lee Anderson West in Bayou La Batre, Mobile, Alabama.
