Edward Lawrence Lloyd, 58, owner and operator of the Wabash Hotel, died at 1:30 PM Tuesday [Oct. 14, 1958] in Logansport State Hospital after a long illness. Born in Lafayette, he was married to Lola M. Fleming in 1938, and she survives.

Mr. Lloyd was a motion picture projectionist for many years until he bought the Wabash Hotel 15 years ago. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and MPMO of U.S. and Canada, Local 174, and Eagles Lodge.

Surviving with his widow are a daughter, Mary K. Lloyd, at home; a sister, Mrs. Mary Bertics of Vista, CA; and a cousin, Mrs. Frank Bonger.
