Mrs. Bertha Lamb, 88, of 11226 W. 63rd, LaGrange, Ill., a former Chesterton and Kouts resident, died at 8 p.m. Saturday in Community General hospital, LaGrange, after a three-year illness.
Born in Kankakee April 14, 1870, she was married to Amos Lamb in Richmond, Ind. He died in 1927.
She was a member of the Kouts Christian church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Austin Boosted of LaGrange; a son, Amos of Hammond; five grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kosanke Brothers Funeral home, Kouts. The Rev. Carl Sommers will officiate, and burial will be in Graceland cemetery, Kouts. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 p.m. today until services.
