Wade, Shirley E. - of Flint Township, age 59, died Friday, May 6, 1983 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 3 P.M. Monday, Sunset Chapel of Reigle Funeral Home. Rev. William R. Long officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. The Swartz Creek Chapter #430 O.E.S. will conduct a memorial service at 7 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Hospice of the Fenton Area Inc. or the Oncology Department of Hurley Medical Center. Mrs. Wade was born in Flint, February 23, 1924. She was a Flint resident most of her life. She was a member of the Swartz Creek Chapter #430 O.E.S. Mrs. Wade had been employed at the Kroger Stores in Flint for 32 years. Surviving are; husband, Jack L. Wade, 1 son and his wife, Jack R. and Linda S. Wade of Flint; 2 grandchildren, Felicia E., Richard Earle; her mother, Olive Leach of Flint; 1 sister, Beatrice O'Dell of Midland; 2 brothers, Richard Leach of Oscoda and Herbert Leach in Lennon; several nieces and nephews.
