She was staff manager of the Asheville Housing Authority for 25 years. Also predeceased by the late Arlie Ray and daughter, Roxeanne Ray.
Survived by four sons, Arlie Thomas 'Tommy' Ray and wife Katherine, Edward Allison 'Eddie' Ray, David Groce Ray and wife, Cindy, and Michael 'Mike' Ray and wife, Jackie. The family will have a private memorial sevice and followed by burial in Skyview Memorial Park.
