Ada Louise Callison 73, of Terre Haute passed away, Saturday, March 10, 2012 in her home.

She was born January 10, 1939 in Urbana, Ohio and was a 1957 graduate of Westville High School.

She retired from Drackett and was a member of the Terre Haute United Methodist Church. Ada loved watching birds, bowling, playing cards, canning, cooking and was an avid Ohio State Fan. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially Sunday Dinners. Her family regarded her as the glue of the family; they will sadly miss her.

She is survived by her mother, Eva (Markley)Oglesbee of Cincinnati, her husband, James Doyle Callison, her sons, Wesley W. Callison and Wade W. (Karen) Callison; her grandchildren, Sara (Ricky) Stephan, Jessica Callison, James W. Callison, Lee Insley and Lorree Insley; her great grandsons, Clayton and Ricky Stephan; her brothers, Larry Oglesbee, Glenn (Sharon) Oglesbee and Richard (Muriel) Oglesbee; her sisters, Joanna (Bill) Rutt, Janet Knox, Rosemary Ballard, Linda (Jack) Davis and Jane (James) Lewis; as well as numerous nieces and nephews of several generations.

Ada is preceded in death by her father, Ivan Oglesbee and daughter, Melissa Insley.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2011 in the VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 in the Terre Haute United Methodist Church with Rev. David Yinger officiating.

Burial will follow in Terre Haute Cemetery.
