Daughter of Zacharah and Charity (Cobb) Spencer. Husband Phillip died Oct 1, 1793 at 43 of bite from copperhead rattlesnake leaving her to raise 9 kids. She went to Scioto Co.,OH in 1817. Mother of Thomas, William, Elizabeth (Webb), Samuel Spencer Sr., Margaret (Watkins), John B., Charity (Gladden) and Joseph Crail.
