A Memorial service for Albert Raymond Carpenter, 86, who died Oct 8 in Las Vegas will be held at 3 pm Saturday in the Neptune Society Chapel.
He was born Feb 5, 1914 in Ash Medows. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and was a 25 year resident of Pahrump moving to the valley from Pioche. He belonged to the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He is survived by his wife Maybelle of Pahrump, Stepdaughter Winifred Daughtery of Pahrump, brothers Paul of Pahrump, and John of Seattle, sister Amanda Cody of Bishop, California and niece Elaine Ishmael of Pahrump and 16 grandchildren.
