GORDON GRANT
Funeral services are being held at 2 pm today for Gordon Grant, Sr., 74, well known businessman who died unexpectedly Monday morning. Services are being conducted by the Rev. Ira Robinson in First United Methodist Church. Interment is set for the Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Grant died at 9:50 am Monday in the emergency room of Morehouse General Hospital after suffering a heart attack.
Mr. Grant was a native of Eros, Louisiana, had owned Grant's Ace Hardware store for nearly 40 years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, a charter member of the Bastrop Rotary Club. He had been an active participant of the Bastrop - Morehouse Chamber of Commerce and MAGIC, an industrial corporation.
Mr. Grant is survived by his wife:

Mrs, Elma Davis of Magnolia, Arkansas
