Elizabeth "Betty" J. Alleva, age 79 of Harrison, AR passed away Saturday, October 7, 2006 at her home in Harrison.
The daughter of John and Marie (Fagan) Didier was born October 23, 1926 in Oak Park, IL. Her parents preceded her in death along with a brother, John; her husband, Joseph Alleva; two sons, Joseph and Barry; a step-daughter, Rose Ann; and a great granddaughter, Kayla.
Elizabeth had been a resident of Harrison for 20 years coming from Illinois, and was a member of Mary Mother of God Catholic Church in Harrison. Her greatest pride was her eleven children, her log home in Harrison, and being a volunteer of North Arkansas Regional Medical Center. She was the last "Grey Lady" of the Red Cross volunteers. She loved to travel, having done so worldwide.
Survivors are a brother, James Didier; a sister, Marie McIntosh; nine children, Jean Chick, Richard Bauer, William Bauer, Robert Bauer, Allan Bauer, Mary Ann Busam of Harrison, AR, Patricia Foster, Jacolyn Wians, and Brett Bauer; sixteen grandchildren; one great granddaughter; a step-daughter; several step grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends who will mourn her passing.
Cremation and arrangements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
Memorial Rosary was Tuesday, October 9 at Mary Mother of God Catholic Church with Memorial Mass following. Rev. Gregory G. Hart officiated.
Committal services are going to l be at a later date at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
