LYNCH, Aaron H.
Age 88 years, died Monday, March 12, 2012 in Brian's House. He was born to the late William J. and Ina (Beaushaw) Lynch on January 3, 1924 in Bay City. Aaron was Plant Manager with Bay Chemical Company for many years before his retirement in 1986. He was a member of Our Lady of the Visitation Church, American Legion Post #18, and a lifetime member of the V.F.W #485. Aaron served in the U. S. Army during World War II. On August 9, 1947 he married the former Bernice Marlow who preceded him in death on October 9, 2001.
Survivors include his three children: Suzanne (William) Shaheen, Randall Lynch, and Peggy (James) Kwapiszewski; seven grandchildren: Brent (Charity) Weston, Chris (Lisa) Weston, Hope (her fiancé, Chris Schafer) and Marc Kwapiszewski, Daniel (Kristin) Shaheen, Alesha (Chris) Williams, William (Jo) Shaheen; 10 great-grandchildren: Aaron, Mackenzie, Bailey, Ethan, Brady, Brittany, Billy, Anthony, Ashley, and Amelia; three brothers and one sister: Terrence, Gerald (Alice), and Timothy Lynch, and Marjorie Hanson; two sisters-in-law: Clara and Judy Lynch; along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his daughters: Brenda and Sandra Lynch; two sisters: Eileen Jacobs and Nora Ann McConnaughey; six brothers: Donald, Charles, Harry, Louis, William, and Leo Lynch.
The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Visitation Church (1106 State St., Bay City). Aaron will lie in state in church Thursday after 9:00 AM. Rev. Joseph Schabel will preside and interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Brian's House or Bay Area Catholic Schools. Visiting hours are Wednesday 2:00 to 8:00 PM, with the Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at the W. A. Trahan Funeral Chapel. www.trahanfc.com
