Lucy Belle Smith, age 87 of Gentry Mill Road of Russell Springs died Tuesday, November 30 at the Russell County Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Luzetta Harris Stephens and Howard Stephens. She was a homemaker and a member of Parks Ridge Church of God.
She is survived by one son: Rev. Michael (Sherry) Smith, of Louisville, two daughters: Patsy (Dale) Moran, Greenwood, IN, Glenda Price, of Russell Springs, one brother: Limon (Charlene) Harris, Russell Springs, one sister: Dorothy Wilson, Russell Springs.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Oval Smith, and two sons: Ralph Rexroat, and Bruce Smith.
Services were held Friday, December 3, 2004 at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Dunbar, Rev. Carroll Egnew, Rev. Michael Smith, and Rev. David Stephens officiating.
Interment in the Parks Ridge Cemetery.
Special music performed by Rev. Chris Smith, Sherry Smith, Tommy McDaniel, and Rev. Larry Perkins.
Pallbearers were Clete McAninch, Wes Sydnor, Bill Westrick, Chris Smith, Ronnie Price, and Dale Moran.
