Stone is believed to belong to Zachariah, son of William and Mary Belew Winters. After careful and lengthy consideration of old documents in the possession of descendants, along with several family historians and a reknowned author, the conclusion was met, that he is buried here alongside his parents.

His wife is laid to rest not far away in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
