Wilma G. Padmore, 80, of Cimarron, passed away April 10, 2004, at her home in Colorado Springs, Colo. Wilma was born on Oct. 6, 1923 in Eric, Okla., one of five siblings. Before moving to Colorado, she served as a manager at a dry goods store in Cimarron.

Her parents James and Della Grayson, her husband Arthur M. Padmore and three siblings precede her. She is survived by her sister Dovie Kaut of Tucson, Ariz., her brother David Grayson of Lancaster, Calif., her two children, Arthur M. Padmore, Jr. and Shanon Padmore of Colorado Springs, her three grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

A celebration of Wilma’s life will take place on April 28 at 1 p.m. at her family residence in Colorado Springs. There will be a cemetery ceremony in Cimarron at a later date.
