Agnes G. DeStefano, 76, of Epping NH, died February 25, 2011, at the Rockingham County Nursing Home in Brentwood NH. She was born November 10, 1934, in Cambridge MA, daughter of the late Anthony J. and Mary (McGaffigan) DeFrancisco. Agnes grew up in Massachusetts but also lived in California and South Carolina. She had resided in Epping NH since 1977. Agnes was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She greatly enjoyed making arts and crafts and working in her yard growing flowers.
She was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Robert A. DeStefano, who died May 4, 1996.
She is survived by her son Robert A. DeStefano, Jr., daughters Linda Merritt-Maine and Michelle Clarke, 3 grandchildren, brothers Anthony DeFrancisco and Dominic "Sonny" DeFrancisco, sisters Mary Evans and Rose Sousa, and many nieces and nephews.
Sincere gratitude goes out from her son Bob "Chip" DeStefano to the wonderful caring staff at the Rockingham Nursing Home for all the love, respect, and affection they showed Agnes over this past year.
