Son of Charles & Helen Holliday Blackmon. Mr. Blackmon was employed as a supervisor for Niagara Mohawk, retiring in 1964. He was a life long resident of Olean, NY. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Lodge 252 F & AM both of Olean, NY, the Olean Senior Citizen's & Portville Senior Citizen's.
Surviving are a son, Jack H. Blackmon of Pismo Beach, CA, a daughter Gayle (Anthony) Iacovino of Olean, NY; 5 grandchildren & 5 great-grandchildren; a brother, Shirley Blackmon of Perry, NY; 2 sisters, Mrs. Hanford King of Olean, NY & Mrs. Clarence Rehler of Albuquerque, NM & several nieces & nephews.
