brother to Malvina, Serena, David Henry, Thomas Benton Hileman; half-brother of John Jefferson Hileman (son of Henry and second wife Eve Earnhart Hileman)

Husband of Alice Jane Bagby b. 1854, married April 16, 1876, they had at least the following children: Dasey, Florence, Edna, Wayne Jackson and Forest Lawson Hileman (one additional child deceased)

Henry was a carpenter by trade, a farm and mill hand when not building. He was orphaned at a very early age, living with an Aunt until he married. This Hileman lineage owned and operated timberland and saw mills all the way back to its southern German roots.
