Olivia Pauline "Ollie" Davis Boyd, died, Wednesday, October 1, 1941 at the General Hospital following a brief illness.

Native of Newberry, SC, daughter of Joshua Taylor Davis and Elizabeth Frances Workman Davis, had made her home in Spartanburg for a number of years.

Wife of Jesse Washington Boyd, a prominent Spartanburg attorney, member of one of the city's best known families, a leading member of the Spartanburg bar, had been chairmen of the board of trustees for the city schools for the past several years.

Member of Central Methodist Church since her marriage in 1909.
