These included Ethland "Ethel" Jane, born in Genoa Township, Delaware County, Ohio, on October 2, 1881; Russell Henry "Harry", born in Scioto Township, Delaware County, Ohio, on February 10, 1887; Jane "Jennie" born in Ohio on February 16, 1890; and William I., born in Ostrander, Ohio, on January 17, 1892 (died young).
Her husband, a blacksmith, died at Stratford on August 3, 1894. Hattie was living with her children and mother in Delaware, Ohio, in 1900, and Altamont, Illinois, with her sister Sarah Smothers, in 1910.
