Mrs. Alverda Duff, formerly of Springfield, died at noon April 8, 1949, age 72. Survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lillian Magley; one son, Paul, both of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; two brothers, Frank and Thomas Achton [sic], both of Decatur; and two sisters, Mrs. Grace Green, Los Angeles, CAlif., and Mrs. Edna Bear. Funeral services at Ellinger & Kunz funeral home and burial in Oak Ridge cemetery.
