STARKE - Vera Muse Olive, 78, of Starke died Saturday, Sept. 25, 2004, at her residence following an extended illness.
Born in Lawtey on Jan. 4, 1926, Mrs. Olive was a lifelong resident of Starke. She was a homemaker and member of Airpark Baptist Church.
Mrs. Olive is survived by: three sons, Lonnie Olive, Lester Olive and James Olive, all of Starke; two daughters, Betty Groves of Starke and Shirley Belyew of Keystone Heights; 19 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband LeRoy Olive and a son Lloyd Olive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Olive were Sept. 29, 2004 in Airpark Baptist Church with the Rev. Charlie Clark and the Rev. Paul Estes conducting the services. Interment was in Macedonia Cemetery in Macclenny under the care of Jones Funeral Home of Starke.
