Anna L. Oberton, 79, formerly of Middle Road, town of Rutland, and widow of Thomas Oberton, died at 12:20 a.m. today in the Samaritan-Keep Nursing Home, where she had been a resident since June 1989.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, with the Rev. Larry Cronk, pastor of Rutland Congregational Church, officiating. Spring burial will be in Sanford Corners Cemetery, Calcium.
