Lester Leon Eubanks, age 64, of the Mt. Olive community NE of Elkins, died Sept. 25, at 2:10 a.m. at the City Hospital of Fayetteville. The deceased was born Jan. 24, 1883 in Madison county, the son of the late Thomas G. Eubanks and Mary Boyd-Eubanks. He was a lifelong resident of the county.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Myrtle Eubanks; one son, Everett Eubanks of Fayetteville; seven daughters, Mrs. Millie Chappell, Mrs. Dessie Dorsey, Mrs. Alta Lee Counts and Mrs. Lila Chappell, all of California; Mrs. Lillian Terrell and Mrs. Elsie Shumate, both of Wisconsin; and Alice Mason of Elkins; also by 22 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Nye of Delaney at the Mt. Olive cemetery at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 28. The Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville was in charge of arrangements.
