Lydia D. Chase
FRYEBURG - Lydia D. Chase, 67, of Fryeburg, died unexpectedly Wednesday, July 13, at her home.
She was born in Portland, Feb. 10, 1938, the daughter of John and Beatrice Hayden Crabtree. She graduated from Mechanic Falls High School in the Class of 1957, and had been a homemaker.
Lydia enjoyed crocheting, knitting, reading, crossword puzzles, and her kitties.
On July 26, 1958, she married Kenneth "Jerry" Chase. He died July 30, 1997.
Survivors include a son, Stephen of Fryeburg; a daughter, Stephanie Brown of Conway, N.H.; two grandsons, Jonathan S. Chase and Charles R. Brown, III; one great-grandson, Jaydon; and three brothers, Robert, Charles and Talmadge Crabtree, all of Mechanic Falls.
