Graveside services for Joe Bailey Hamilton, 71, of 1219 Armstrong in Denison, who died Monday morning at the Texoma Medical Center, were held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Leonard Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. O. R. Carry.
Mr. Hamilton was born Jan 10, 1909, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph T. Hamilton.
He was retired from the city of Denison water department. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Ethel Hamilton of Savoy; five brothers, J. T. Hamilton; D. H. Hamilton and Calvin Hamilton of Bonham, W. E. Hamilton of Oklahoma City, and Daniel Hamilton of Downey, Ca; and a sister, Mrs. Martha Coonrod of Bonham.
Pallbearers were Lewis Brinlee, Bob Turpin, Bill Phillips, Dude Collingsworth, John Campbell, Bill Shelley, and Raymond Long.
