Book: "Simeon HART, Brookfield, Trumbull County, Ohio, second son and youngest child of Oliver Elsworth HART, of Brookfield, Ohio, and his wife, Susanna White (DANFORTH), born July 10th, 1844, at Brookfield. He commenced studying law, but entered the army in the One Hundred and Fifth Ohio Volunteers, where he remained until the close of the war. He was with Sherman in his grand march to the sea. His health became so impaired during the campaign that since his return he has not been able to finish his studies. He is a young man of fine mined, good morals, and attractive personal appearance, and was living at Youngstown, Ohio, in October, 1874." (Alfred Andrews, Geneal.
