Ray Henderson, 69, of Rt. 1 Burton, died Sunday morning at the West Virginia University Hospital. He was born Nov. 29, 1906 in Monongalia County, a son of the late Frank and Rilla Wilson Henderson. He was a retired employee of the Preston Oil Co., and a member of the Miracle Run United Methodist Church. Survivors include his widow, Gertrude Park Henderson, a son, Robert Henderson; three step sons, Fred Park, Clarence Park and Jay Park; a daughter, Mrs. Roberta Sprowls; a step daughter, Mrs. Nola Chisler; a brother, Joe Henderson; a sister, Mrs. Ida Haught; two grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren.
