Stanley Leaverton, 55, Wilmington, died at the St. Elizabeth Hospital, Dayton, Saturday, after an illness of two weeks. Death was
attributed to high blood pressure.
The son of Justice (Jesse) and Martha McCoppin Leaverton, he was born at New Petersburg, November 25, 1883.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Mayme Ridgeway Leaverton, four children, Hubert of Blanchester, Mrs. Clifford Chaney of Plant
City, Florida; Joseph of Wilmington. amd Chillicothe, one sister, Mrs. William Best of New Carlisle, three half-sisters, Mrs. Theodore Giffin of Springfield, Mrs. Neal Wheaton of Greenfield and Mrs. Charles Johns of New Carlisle and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. H/ L. Leasure at the Arthur Funeral Home Tuesday. Interment was in Samantha Cemetery.
