On Dec 7, 1933, he was united in marriage to Anna Bauman, who survives. Also surviving are 3 daughters (Eleanor Fern, Melba Ruth, and Treva Anna), his parents, two brothers (Home and Clarence), 3 sisters (Martha - Mrs Phares Zimmerman, Anna, and Magdalene - Mrs Harold Weaver), all of Wakarusa, Ind; and many other relatives and friends.
In his youth he accepted Christ and united with the Wisler Mennonite Church. Funeral services were conducted by Paul Hoover, William Ramer, and R F Yoder. Burial was made in the Yellow Creek Cemetery.
