Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ethel Craig Simpson of Alexandria; two sons, Edgar Simpson of Bakersfield, Calif., and S.B. Simpson, Jr. of Monroe; two daughters, Mrs. Jean Marie Loague of Pineville and Mrs. Sammie Cicardo of Alexandria; a brother, Beartrice (Bert) Simpson of Pine Bluff, Ark.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Hixson Bros. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
