David was the son of Luther Elliott and Eva Sims Elliott (both deceased). He was a
farmer and retired school teacher with the Lincoln County School system and a
member of the Middleburg Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by three
brothers, Paul, Silas and James Elliott and two sisters; Ruth Miller and Ruby Fleming.
Survivors include his spouse, Thelma Mushin Elliott, two daughters; Pamela and
(Dwayne) Thurman of Monticello, Kentucky and Cynthia Elliott of Somerset, one son;
David Greene Elliott II of Glendale and one grandson; David James Elliott.
Visitation will be on Thursday evening March 8th, 2012 from 6:00 P.M. at the Bartle
Funeral Home Middleburg. Funeral Services officiated by Reverend Bill Hill will be
held Friday afternoon March 9th, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Bartle Funeral Home
Middleburg. Burial will follow in the Middleburg Cemetery.
