RITES HELD FOR NANCY E. HENSON
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon for Mrs. Jacob (Nancy Elizabeth) Henson, 92-year-old Chandler resident who died Thursday following a 2 week illness.
Mrs. Henson was a longtime County resident. She was born in Benton County, Arkansas and came with her husband and family to Lincoln County in 1905. They lived near Wellston until Mr. Henson's death in 1955. She then lived in Chandler with her daughter, Mrs. Russell Duncan.
She was a member of the Friends Church.
Survivors include a son, Robert, Oklahoma City; 3 daughters, Mrs. Russell Duncan, Chandler, Mrs. Fannie Horton, Meeker and Mrs. Eulah Atkins, Edmond. Also a brother, Bill Evans, Wellston; and a sister, Mrs. Callie Martin, Webb City, Mo. (Source: Chandler-Lincoln County News, Thurs. Apr. 9, 1964.)
