Abraham William Villers was the son of Elias Villers (1835-1907) & Mahala Horner (1833-1904) born December 19, 1857 in Littleton, West Virginia.
Abraham married Frances Nevada Batson in 1885 [August 9] in Grundy County, Missouri. They had 10 children. He became a widow at age 71. Shortly after, he moved in with his son, Abraham Jr. and his wife and grandson. He lived with them in Lake, Indiana until his death at age 74.
Throughout his life, Abraham worked as a coal miner, farmer, and ultimately a cemetery caretaker for 4 years until his death. Abraham died from Septicemia and Toxic Absorption from Gangrene to his left extremity; he was hospitalized for 2 weeks before his death on December 8, 1932.
