OXFORD - Louise Parham Ellis, 71, a resident of Quail Ridge Apartments, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2004, after a lengthy illness. She was a Granville County native and the daughter of the late Charles E. Parham Sr. and Carolyn Harris Parham. She was the widow of W.T. Ellis Sr.

She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Henderson and was retired.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Thursday at Eakes Funeral Chapel in Oxford by the Revs. Calvin Mills and Jesse Matthews. Burial will be in Dexter Baptist Church Cemetery.

Surviving are three daughters, Dorothy E. Faucette and Gladys E. Faucette, both of Henderson, and Tracy E. Velez of Oxford; a son, W.T. Ellis Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Dorothy P. Flichum of Atlanta Ga., and Christine Kelly of Fayetteville; 11 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 7 until 8:30 p.m. today at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and other times at the home of Randy and Gladys Faucette, 767 Walter Bowen Road, Henderson, N.C. 27536.
