Born on October 21, 1932 in Moncks Corner, SC, he was the son of the late John D. Wright and Bertha West Wright. He was adopted and raised by Levy and Emma Thomas of Cordesville, SC.
Mr. Wright worked in the construction industry.
He is survived by his step-son, Gilbert L. Hardee and his wife, Rosemary, of Ravenel, SC; step-daughter, Alice Gillespie of Missouri; several nieces and nephews; a special niece, Kay Brandon and her husband, Johnny, of Georgetown, SC; brother, Lawrence Wright of Columbia, SC and sister, Becky Kay of West Pelzer, SC. Mr. Wright is also survived by a very special friend, Michael Johnson of Mt. Pleasant.
