Funeral services for Mrs. Delphia Moody, age 86, are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Friday, March 9, 2012 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill.

Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Moody passed away Wednesday at her home in Scotts Hill.

She was born January 25, 1926 in Decatur County to the late Charlie and Esther Brasher Thompson.

She was an employee of I-Appel in Scotts Hill for over 30 years and a member of Red Walnut Church of Christ for many, many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. James Coy Moody, her son, Charles Larry Moody, her daughter, Deborah Kathy Jones, a brother, Paul Thompson, and two sisters, Grapel Riggs and Ruth Roberts.

Survivors include her daughter, Janice Kay (Jerry W.) Rosson of Franklin, two sisters, Shirley Jarrett of Linden and Grace Svehlak of Hohenwald, eight grandchildren, Ricky Moody, Angela Puckett, Donna Pusser, Kimberly Fusco, Emily Hamilton, Kevin Rosson, Nicholas Marrs, and Theresa Ester, twelve great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
