Lawrence A. O'Guinn, 89, of Cahokia, Ill., born Aug. 23, 1922, in Fancy Farm, Ky., died Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Mr. O'Guinn was retired from Monsanto W.G. Krummrich Plant, Sauget, Ill. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Cahokia, Ill. He was a World War II U.S. Air Force veteran.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Roberta "Bert" O'Guinn; his parents; seven brothers; a sister; and a great-grandson.

Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
