body of Mr. Stephen Austin who departed this life Sept. 29th 1787 aged 83 years.
alfo Mrs. Martha Austin the consort of Mr. Stephen Austin who departed this life December 22d 1769 aged 60 years."

Martha was the daughter of William Thompson and was born Feb. 1709/10. She married Stephen Austin on April 19, 1732 in New Haven.
