Will (13 December 1912 written): I, John W. Roulette of the village of Pleasantville County of Washington and State of Maryland, being of sound mind and memory do make and publish and Declare this to be my last will and testament to wit: First: All my just debts and Funeral expenses shall be first fully paid. Second - I give devise and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my estate both real and personal to my Housekeeper Catharine Walker to have to hold to her my said Housekeeper During her lifetime. At her death to be equally divided among my four children, Sarah Ellen Ford, Margaret Ann Wright, Briscoe E. Roulette and Daisy May Roulette. Third - I nominate and appoint my Housekeeper Catherine Walker to be the Executor of this my last will and testament without bond. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Thirteenth day of December A.D. 1912 Signed Sealed published and declared as and for his last Will and Testament by the above named Testator in our presence who have at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other signed our names as witnesses thereto. Roulette, one of the sons of John W. Roulette, late of Washington County, deceased, and made oath in due form of law, that the aforegoing is the true and whole Will of said deceased, which has come to his hands and possession, and that he does not know nor has he heard of any other, and that the same was found in the home of decedent after the death of Catherine Walker, the life tenant and who died on the 30th of January 1930, the said John W. Roulette having died on the 24th day of July, 1917 Sworn before : Chas. A. Weagly, Register of Wills.

"The will of John W. Roulette, late of Pleasantville, was probated in Orphans Court Friday. He left a small estate in Sharpsburg district."

John W Roulett served in the Maryland Potomac Home Brigade Vols. 1st Regiment Company A (Co. Commander Capt. R. Elsworth Cook). He enlisted on August 15, 1861 for 3 years. He was Discharged in August 1864 fulfilling is term of service. He was wounded at the Battle of Gettysburg on July 2nd or 3rd in 1863.
