Will (13 December 1912 written): I, John W. Roulette of the village of Pleasantville County of Washington and State of Maryland, being of sound mind and memory do make and publish and Declare this to be my last will and testament to wit: First: All my just debts and Funeral expenses shall be first fully paid. Second - I give devise and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my estate both real and personal to my Housekeeper Catharine Walker to have to hold to her my said Housekeeper During her lifetime. At her death to be equally divided among my four children, Sarah Ellen Ford, Margaret Ann Wright, Briscoe E. Roulette and Daisy May Roulette. Third - I nominate and appoint my Housekeeper Catherine Walker to be the Executor of this my last will and testament without bond. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Thirteenth day of December A.D. 1912 Signed Sealed published and declared as and for his last Will and Testament by the above named Testator in our presence who have at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other signed our names as witnesses thereto. Roulette having died on the 24th day of July, 1917 Sworn before : Chas. A. Weagly, Register of Wills.

John W Roulett served in the Maryland Potomac Home Brigade Vols. 1st Regiment Company A (Co. Commander Capt. R. Elsworth Cook). He enlisted on August 15, 1861 for 3 years. He was Discharged in August 1864 fulfilling is term of service. He was wounded at the Battle of Gettysburg on July 2nd or 3rd in 1863.
