Mrs. Grisham died Feb. 8, 1997, at a local nursing home. She was born Oct. 9, 1909, at Shawnee to Jim and Effie McAnally Mahan.
She lived in the Ada area most of her life and attended Washington School at Ada. She was a homemaker and charter member of Bible Baptist Church.
She and William Thomas Grisham were married in Sep. 1927 at Ada. He died in October 1963 at Ada.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Deaton, Borger, Texas; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Bill Grisham, in July 1967.
Bearers are Gary Deaton, Leslie Deaton, James C. Mesneak, Oren Dew, Otto Nickell, and Lenard Haines.
Honorary bearers are Kenny McMillan, Clint Corvin, Larry McClellan, and Lonnie McClellan.
