Louis E. Curley, 82, of 111 W Lakeview Ave., died Sunday at a Madison hospital after an illness.
He married Christine Arvold in 1911 and had been employed for 59 years with the Cantwell Printing Co., before retiring in 1968. He was a member of the Luther Memorial Church here Born in Sun Prairie and a Madison resident since 1904, he had formerly played baseball in Madison's old Industrial Leagues with the late Wisconsin State Journal sports columnist Joseph (Roundy) Coughlin. Surviving are his wife Christine Curley; two sons, Robert, 3449 Hargrove St.; and Eugene, 111 W. Lakeview Ave.; a sister. Mrs. Eva Blumke, Verona; and five grandchildren.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
