Irene was an active member of her church. She enjoyed oil painting and crafts. Born December 7, 1936 in Idaho, she moved to Bakersfield at the age of 17. Irene was employed by the County of Kern.
She is survived by her four children, John, Gayle, Joseph, and Ganelle; and son-in-law Tommie; granddaughter Allie; stepmother Alta; brothers and sisters Henry, Marian, Marvin, Delpha, Gordon, Jerry, David, Bob and Larry. She was loved and will be missed by many.
