Husband of Elizabeth (Wattles) Blocher (1849-1920). First wife was Ann (Gehr) Blocher (1835-1872). He married Ann in 1856 and after she died, he married Elizabeth in 1875. John was the father of at least five children with Ann including: William, Flora, John, Richard and Charles Blocher and four children with Elizabeth: Claude, Nellie, Nelson and Scott Blocher. John was the son of John Blocher and Elizabeth (Bishop) Blocher.
