Radio actress. She was particularly known for her skill at doing an impersonation of a baby's crying and to the great delight of her nephews and nieces she would on request demonstrate this skill. The daughter of the the Reverend William Henry Dickman and May Viola (Holbrook) Dickman Fishback. She never married. For a number of years she lived in an apartment on the second floor of the home of a Jeweler in Springfield and worked in the family store as a salesperson. Later she lived in Decatur, Illinois with her half sister Mrs. Paul Swarm followed by moving to Chicago where she had a studio apartment at 1765 East 55th Street, just off of Lake Michigan,in the same building as her sister Mrs. L R Jackson.
