William E. "Bill" Deller, 77, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Deaconess Hospital. He was born March 3, 1935, in Evansville.
Bill was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of VFW Post #1114.
He was a lifelong member of Emanuel Lutheran Church.
Bill worked at Lewis & Schiff Heating and Air Conditioning and later owned T.J. Mini Storage.
He loved to hunt and fish.
Bill is survived by his wife, Ruth Sloan Deller; son, Tim and Cathy Deller Sr.; grandchildren, TJ and Kara Deller, Christina Deller, Michael Burden and Ashley Bland; great-grandchild, Konnor Bland; and sister, Doris and Maurice Metz, all of Evansville.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 308 First Avenue, officiated by Rev. Arlene Okey, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. The Retired Veterans Memorial Club will conduct military rites at the cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday from 2 until 8 p.m. at Alexander West Chapel.
