COOKEVILLE –Funeral services for Sadie L. Walker, 59, will be held Tuesday, July 31 at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home with Bro. Hershel Riddle officiating. Mrs. Walker died at Cookeville General Hospital July 29.
Burial will be in the Cookeville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Walker, a homemaker, was the daughter of John Phillip and Rosa Lee Brown Roberts. She was a native of Atlanta, GA.
She is survived by her husband, Willie Thurlow Walker, Cookeville; one son, Franklin Whitfield of GA; three daughters, Linda Carol Walker of FL, Dianna Lynn Schultz, and Janis Leigh Walker, both of MI; one brothers, Hampton Roberts of GA; one sister, Mrs. Katie Poss of GA; one halfsister, Lois Reid of GA, and nine grandchildren.
