Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Fitzgerald Lee Roddy were conducted Tuesday, July 2, at the Gainesboro
Methodist Church. Burial was in the Cookeville City Cemetery.
Officiating were Rev. Steve Smith and Rev. F. F. Moore.
Mrs. Roddy, widow of Paul Roddy, died June 30 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville following a long illness.
She had resided in Cookeville for eight years, living at 555 Terrace Hill Rd. A native of Jackson County, Mrs. Roddy was the daughter of John W. and Amanda Loftis Lee. She was a retired teacher and held membership in the Presbyterian Church.
Before moving to Cookeville, Mrs. Roddy served as secretary of the Red Cross Chapter and worked with the Hot Lunch program in Jackson County.
Survivors are three brothers, A. H. Lee, Cookeville, Robert Lee, Detroit, MI, and W. B. Lee, Ventura, CA,
and a sister, Mrs. W. C. Anderson of Gainesboro.
