Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Brian Brownlow and Doug Crum officiating.
Burial will follow at Roby Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Guyna was born June 8, 1928 in Roby, Texas to Guyon Jarrett and Beatrice (Hubbard) Davis.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She worked at Holiday Inn for many years and also as a bookkeeper for Nutone Cleaners.
She is survived by two sons, Gil Pickford Cherry and wife Gay Nell and Geen Jarrett Cherry , all of Sweetwater, Texas; grandchildren, Gabe Cherry, Grant Cherry and wife Jenny, Geena Cherry, Genea Cherry, Gynelle Cherry and Gewel Cherry; great grandchildren, Kambri and Gibson Cherry, Brayden Chance, Gazmen, Angel, and Douglas McIntosh and her beloved pet Lucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
Pallbearers will be Gabe Cherry, Grant Cherry, Justin Chance, Chance Vaught, Larry Vaught, and Dale White.
