Mrs. Brenda Mauldin Barnhardt, 63, of Little Buffalo Creek Rd., died Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the Tucker Hospice House.
Funeral service will be 1:00pm Thursday at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church officiated by Rev. Angela Powell and Rev. Donnie Burleyson; burial will follow in the church cemetery.The Barnhardt family will receive friends from 6-8pm Wednesday evening at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant.
Mrs. Barnhardt was born August 16, 1948 in Cabarrus County daughter of the late Robert S. Mauldin and Ollie Virginia Seamone Mauldin. She was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and being around the farm. She was preceded in death by brothers Gary and Bobby Mauldin.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce Barnhardt, daughter Sylvia Rinehardt, sons William Allen Heintz and Randy Eugene Heintz, step sons, Lane Barnhardt and Todd Barnhardt, step daughter, Sonda Goodman, brother, Larry Mauldin, sisters, Linda Lowder, Judy Coley and Gail Helms, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and four step grandchildren.
